Long time, Same Stuff

I think my posting here has become an yearly affair. A little more than an year ago I tried reviving this blog. But ever since, a lot of stuff has been happening and I never really got back.

Well, ever since I have been in and out of domaining forums, occasionally checking on whats changed; and guess what, its the same stuff I saw one year ago. Newbies trying to learn the ropes, peddling crazy domains and searching in the dark. Pro’s asserting their business prowess by telling off newbs and elaborating on their recent successes and how well their doing in the domaining biz. Heh, some things never change do they?

Another wave of rampant registrations and craze on a newly released extension is picking speed. .co is out for registrations and people are once again going crazy with a promise for future riches. Some argue .co’s are hunting fields for traffic. Well, I dont really remember ever typing .co when i wanted to go .com. Also, there is always  the trusty Ctrl+Enter key combo which appends .com to the domain names.

Its all good though, these new extension gimmicks keep cash fluid in the industry, and thats always good news eh? ;)
